A Brief Lesson in Songwriting

thought id be nice and give you all
song writing tips for free
So lets start with the first verse
I always like to palm mute and run it through it twice
And then go into a fast chorus
Because chorus’s are meant to be fun
and of course, I like to play punk
so I always try to make then really fast and short.

When coming into the second verse
You gotta make sure to change it up a bit
So that the riff is a little bitdifferent
Then bring it back down to the usual chords
Right before it goes back into that fast chorus
Again
Repeat the words and then
It’s time
To get ready to go
To the bridge which
I like to make nice and slow

You know It’s
ok to rip off songs
As long as they are good
And you don’t do it for too long
Because the court of law says that’s wrong

And just like that we are on the final verse
So If you have anything left to say
You gotta make it quick
Because by now the listener usually skips the song
Especially if it’s on a Bandcamp page
Ok
It’s time for the final chorus
This is where you can really go
Off course
And of course . Chorus are meant to be fun
Unlike this song writing course I made
So I’m gonna end it with a funny chord right now
